One day I posed for a local artist’s painting who suggested I take up modeling.

How long have you been doing what you’re doing?

On and off for a few years.

Describe your passion for the PIN-UP Era and it’s lifestyle?

For as long as I can remember I have been mesmerized by all things vintage. I grew up watching old black and white films like the Dambusters and Reach for the Skies. Browsing antique shops is bliss for me. As for fashion, I have always enjoyed dressing up and making an effort, and as women were so glamourous back in the golden age, I decided to follow their lead and eminate their timeless styles. Janyne Mansfield was one of my favourite pin ups – a true blonde bombshell.

Who are your inspirations from the PIN-UP Culture?

Artists such as Gil Elvgren and Peter Driben.

In your eyes, what are the differences between Vintage PIN-UP and Modern PIN UP?

To me vintage pin up is timeless style, authentic garments and traditional methods of styling. Modern pin up is tattoos, hot rods and leopard print. Personally, I think a mixture of the two is hot!

What turns you off?

Arrogance, ignorance and cruelty.

Falling into a passenger’s lap during turbulence when I was an air hostess.

Who is your hero and why?

Anyone who fights for animal rights and tries to stop cruel treatment of them, because animals have feelings and emotions just like us and they feel pain as we do.

What is your personal message to the world?

All beings tremble before violence

All fear death

All love life

See Yourself In Others
